DigiDECOM’s NuclearNEXT 2025, organised as part of the activities of the Nuclear Research Centre, will take place in Halden, Norway, from 11 to 15 November 2025. It is the largest event in Norway bringing together the national and international nuclear community.

Wanja Paulsen defend her thesis "A saga on the γ-decay branching ratio of the Hoyle state at the Oslo Cyclotron Laboratory" for the degree of Philosophiae Doctor at the University of Oslo, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.

Professor Takashi Nakamura, Deptartment of Physics, Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan, will give a talk on the topic  "Exploring extremes of the nuclear landscape ".

The event Norway’s Energy Dilemma: Is Nuclear the Missing Piece?, hosted by Norske Kjernekraftkommuner and co-hosted by the Norwegian Nuclear Association, takes place during Arendalsuka 2025.

Guest lecture by Dr. Per Peterson

Dr. John Koblanski is currently visiting the NNRC and has worked on machine learning for analysis of data from the PROSPECT anti-neutrino detector. He will give a short seminar on genetic algorithms (see abstract below).
